Become literate about the rights of children, including the United
Nation's Convention on
the Rights of the Child. The United States is only one of a tiny handful
of nations that has refused to sign this document.
Contact your US legislators
today and tell them you want the United States to ratify the UN's Convention
on the Rights of the Child.
Let your elected representatives at
state, local and
national levels know that you
want action against systemic partners of trafficking such as the sex tourism
industry and "escort agencies."
Push for state laws that clearly define trafficking and provide for
strict penalties for those convicted of trafficking. Currently, many states
