Question: When did slavery end?

Answer:  It hasn't.

Since 2002, when the Sisters of the Divine Savior accepted an international mandate to respond to the cries of women and children around the world who are being exploited and sold across borders, the Sisters of the Divine Savior in the United States have been working on the issue of trafficking of women and children.

This website is a tool in that effort, and a way to link to the efforts of others who recognize that the invisible crisis of slavery calls for our response.

The information and stories on this site may well be disturbing. Such is the nature of humans enslaving and exploiting humans. We recommend parental guidance due to the nature of the issues.
