Sister
Maryann is a Reiki master and massage therapist.
She has found that touch and movement are
calming and affect the body, mind and spirit
of her clients.
Sister
Mary Ann has worked as a nurse, nursing school
instructor and has a Master's Degree in community
mental health.
She
has faith in the healing power of God and
each person. These beliefs have brought her
to explore holistic, integrative medicine
during the course of her varied health care
related ministries.
Today she believes that healing is part of
a broad spectrum of care that includes the
wisdom of other cultures and utilizes such
therapies as acupressure, acupuncture, counseling,
massage, reflexology, and other energy modalities
such as Reiki. These energy modalities focus
on the different energy centers of the body.
If these areas are blocked, different physical
symptoms can result. If the energy area is
unlocked through touch and movement, healing
can begin, according to Sister Maryann.
"
I try to bring life and hope to people who
are having different life challenges. We are
trying to enhance the healing process by including
and recognizing that balance of body,
mind and spirit is essential," Sister
Maryann pointed out.
Sister Bernadette Kline and Sister Maryann
are prepared to watch the Green Bay
Packers. Maryann watches and prays for the
success of "the Pack."
