I love my work and look forward to it.  I have been able to build on my nursing experience to now minister spiritually to patients. I am a member of the Arizona State Hospital Pastoral Team.  I lead spirituality groups on seven units, assist the priest, and am a Eucharistic Minister. In addition, I am able to provide religious counseling for patients and staff of all faiths, in keeping with their unique circumstances.  Also I  visit geriatric patients to provide them with comfort and care.

In addition, I enjoy taking theology classes, and have taken a unit in Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) at Good Samaritan Medical Center, Thunderbird, Arizona to enhance my Pastoral skills.

As  a member of the parish choir, Legion of Mary, the Vocation Committee for the Diocese of Phoenix it's possible to help others in many ways. I live in community with two Salvatorian Sisters in a house we own in central Phoenix.  I am in my third year of temporary vows.

We have 50 Salvatorian men and women in the South West Region which includes Tucson and Phoenix.  All of these opportunities for service in ministry, prayer in community, and fellowship with other Salvatorians keep me challenged. I am very happy.
