Come and Share in the Salvatorian Mission Warehouse!

November 14-16, 2005

This program for women promotes the mission of worldwide Salvatorian women and men through a personal experience of sharing community life with Sisters and assisting in efforts at our Salvatorian Mission Warehouse.

WHERE: New Holstein and St. Nazianz, WI (90 miles north of Milwaukee)

WHAT YOU WILL DO: You will work for the missions by assisting in jobs given to volunteers. Workdays at the warehouse begin at 9 am and finish at 4:30 pm. The evening will include a simple meal and reflection period in a vicinity community, Maria Haus. There, you will experience a simple life as lived by Salvatorians and the concerns they have for international mission service. You'll enjoy country quiet, a private bedroom, and a simple breakfast. We will have a morning class on Salvatorian spirituality and mission, with reflection and conversation guided by the Sisters. The program concludes at 11:30 am on November 16 and you can expect to return to Milwaukee by 2:30 pm.

COSTS: If you drive, you can offer transportation for yourself and other participants. Directions will be provided.  You'll pay $25 for overnight accommodations and meals at Maria Haus.

Please bring along whatever you personally will need for your overnight, and dress for a "chilly" warehouse atmosphere.

Sisters will provide the worksite and materials for lessons, prayer, and reflection. There is an elevator at Maria Haus, where you will stay.

Scholarships are available if the fee is a financial hardship for you.

Please, contact Sister Mary Lee Grady at 414-466-0810, ext. 229 or email her at gradym@salvatoriansisters.org
