Almost always, women wonder:
What's
it really like to "live in community?" Is this a lifestyle
that fits me? What does a "convent" really look like?
Are there
different types of living arrangements for Sisters? What skills and
abilities does a woman need to cultivate in order to live well in
multi-generational, diverse living groups?
Would it be possible to
spend a time- just a few days - living with the Salvatorian Sisters
to see what it's like?
These kinds of questions are
very common. That's why we invite you to consider a special
Come and See
visit.
These visits are planned for single Catholic women, ages 18- 40, interested
in learning more about religious life, ministries, and opportunities for a
life with Jesus Christ!
Usually, a "Come
and See" program takes place over a weekend, to allow travelers
ample time to get to meet Sisters. Each "Come and See" weekend is
unique, with opportunities for you to sample community prayer,
meals, and recreation. You'll also probably visit sisters at their
various places of ministry, and you might even get a chance to
volunteer your own time and talents in service to the poor!
We like to host a
"Come and See" weekend as often as we have three to five interested
participants. So, why not put your name on our list by simply
emailing us, and then we will work together to find a weekend that's
free for all of us!
To add your name
(no obligation - just interest!) to our "Come and See" mailing list,
please
email Sister Carol Jean today! Or,
give her a call: 414-466-0810 ext. 229.
