Becoming an SDS Sister
Who are we looking for?

A Sister of the Divine Savior, whether she is a new affiliate or has already professed her vows, is guided by a program of Formation. The process of Formation -- theological, scriptural, liturgical, spiritual, and psychological -- helps the Sister grow in her knowledge and experience of God, of herself, of the community, and of the people she serves.

The two stages of formation are Initial Formation and Ongoing Formation. The initial stage is a preparation for Final Profession and includes Affiliation, Candidature, Postulancy, Novitiate, and Temporary Vows. Ongoing Formation encompasses the rest of a Sister's life in the community.

We offer Come and See Programs throughout the year to provide the opportunity for interested women to get to know us. After we have spent enough time together to get to know one another and if you are interested in proceeding you will begin the application process.
